Ngondo is a visual artist specialising in figurative and abstract art. Born in Angola and now living in East London, Ngondo spent his formative years in Czechoslovakia where he became an established mixed-media painter and pioneered immersive art installations. In his paintings, Ngondo explores themes of the human condition; identity, truth, perception and interpretation, using a combination of acrylic, oils, and recycled materials.

Ngondo’s work has been exhibited widely throughout Europe. During his career, he has taken part in cultural initiatives and exhibitions sponsored or led by the British Council; Alliance Francaise; UNESCO; the UK Arts Council; the Bow Arts Trust; Tower Hamlets; the Brady Arts centre; Bow Heaven; Birckbeck University; the Mental Health Foundation, and several embassies. Ngondo has also been a member of the Arts Councils of both Angola and Slovakia, as well as of the IAA AIAP UNESCO.
