You are invited to the third official Paradise Café event at Muxima. We aim to delight and are aspiring for our most spectacular party so far; a somewhat difficult task given that previous parties had laser-lit disco balls, sensational visuals and live sax playing.
Resident DJs play uplifting global disco, jazz-funk and soulful house transporting you to Africa, the root of much of the world’s best music, via the Americas (Brazil in the south and NYC/Chicago/Detroit in the north) the source of much of the rest. Or maybe just showing you that you can have a really amazing night at a café in Bow.
But this isn’t really even about the DJs. It’s about the vibe, and as anyone who has been will tell you, this party has a vibe. The theme for this one is Birds of Paradise. Interpret it how you like but come dressed to help create a little bit of paradise on this corner of Roman Road.
We will be delighted to see you from 9pm on Saturday 21st September and will together weave dancefloor magic.
NB: We’re moving away from using Facebook for this event and as such ask you to download new social events app Slonch at slonch.com/dl to see who’s going and to invite phonebook friends to the event, as well as other handpicked local events.
