An evening of experimental trumpet sounds by Italian artist Jacopo Buda.
Jacopo Buda is a trumpet player, producer, sound designer and busker, born in Rimini, Italy. In 2017 Jacopo graduated in History of Stage Direction at DAMS University in Bologna (University of Arts, Music and Theatre) with the theatre director Claudio Longhi. Over the last years he has been working with sound and speed in the field of music, audio-visual, performance and installation. Buda is actively involved as event organizer in numerous local art collectives in Rimini and Bologna such as Bologna Elettrica and Casa Pomposa. Between 2018 and 2019 he took part as sound designer to the open call “DECLINAZIONI” by Did Studio Ariella Vidach and Studio Azzurro in Milan, where he worked on real time Audio Processing through modular system. After the Artistic Residency, he founded the AION Collective. Since 2018 Buda has been working on his solo career with the music experimental project b u j a. The project aims to develop the personal language of the artist by exploring the possible and hidden sonorities in the dialogue between trumpet and electronic circuits.
