THE MISEDUCATION OF LUNA KHAN

“Magical realism meets gritty urban poetry, accompanied by soulful music” – ASIAN VOICE

food from 7pm
performance at 8.30pm

A hijab-wearing teenager finds herself marooned on ‘The Heart of Suffering’, an island governed by an African scientist called Buckminster Abdullah, where she meets a cast of fairy-tale characters, including werewolves, transgender shamans and hot boys.

Told through spoken word, film and music, The Miseducation of Luna Khan is a modern-day fable for grown-up children who feel lost at sea in the 21st century. Last Mango In Paris use music, provocation, comedy and deft lyricism to explore sustainability, gender equality, and the impacts of migration on culture and society.
