A new art exhibition by Joy Smith: Civil Rights Shining Lights
in honour of Black History Month
Black leaders and musicians of the civil rights era, with their stories. All painted in watercolour black and white, by painter and writer Joy Smith. Local painter who stayed in Fish Island for about seven years during the attempted gentrification of the area. Built up the collection over the last year or so; and now displays them in honour of black history month, for the citizens of Bow, and customers of Muxima to enjoy.
Opening Night: Thursday 12th October 8pm
Exhibition Runs: 10th October – 7th November
